EnviroMedia helped Green Mountain Energy Company registere a 70 percent increase in sales of renewable energy.
Roberts also worked closely with Dell, Inc. to strategically guide the development of a globally sustainable brand as well as a successful nationwide computer-recycling program. His latest venture is with Green Canary Sustainability Consulting, providing strategic advice to companies who want to go green.
Roberts has also been instrumental in the development of the Greenwashing Index - a joint project he spearheaded with the University of Oregon to provide a public education forum for discussing greenwashing. The site allows visitors to post and rate ads using simple criteria to help them decide if green marketing claims are misleading or untrue.
Roberts earned his B.A. in Spanish and History at Northwestern University, and his master's degree in Latin American History at The University of Texas at Austin.
