Some new rules on job posting.

Based largely on my own recent thoughts on the topic of job postings, AND someone on Twitter poking fun at a job posting on door64 (I won't say which one), I am making some new rules. See the yellow frame's DO's and DON'Ts:

Feel free to comment. I am contemplating the need for character-limited fields for job listings to force MEAT and get rid of the FLUFF. To paraphrase a quote from Sabrina, "more isn't always better; sometimes it's just more."

FWIW, it wasn't me poking fun at a job posting on door64... I may be known for making fun of craigslist postings here... But I plead not guilty in this case.

Nope, wasn't you SJ! Just someone in the Tweetspace. But that prompted me to realize that we can do better here.

Heh... I just don't want people to think I am the only "malcontent" around!

I do like the guidelines though, especially on removing the fluff, adding the meat and being realistic and flexible about skills. I think employers would find their hiring a lot easier if they embraced what you've written.

I think that is absolutely fair and glad you have added that structure. Sorry I have not been more active on here.
